Circle POS text messages
Effective October 17, 2026 · If a translation differs from the English text, the English text applies.
Businesses that use Circle POS send two kinds of texts from Circle's toll-free number. Every text starts with the business name and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out". We never send marketing texts.
1. At the register (point of sale)
The cashier asks, "May we text you when your order is ready?" The customer gives a mobile number, and the box is checked only if the customer says yes. The box is never checked in advance.

2. Online ordering and staff sign-up (website)
Customers check an unchecked box on the online order page. Employees scan a QR code shown by their manager, open the sign-up page and must agree to work notices; texts are sent only if they also check the text box.

Example messages

- Joe's Diner: Staff notice - a group of 30 arrives at 4 PM. Please set up the hall by 3:30. Reply STOP to opt out.
- Joe's Diner: URGENT staff notice - please come to the front counter now. Reply STOP to opt out.
